Installation Included

To ensure your custom made A-One Blinds fit perfectly we off a free measure, quote and installation service in the BOP region as part of our service.  However, in case you need to remove or install your blinds at any stage below is a simple guide to assist you:

To remove a Roller Blind:

Turn the large wheel at the pin end (non-chain end) anti clockwise
This action will slide the metal pin inward and the blind will slide out of the bracket note: this could be quite stiff to move.

To Install a Roller Blind:
Installing a blind takes only 5 minutes.

You will need:

  • A pencil
  • Screwdriver (No.2 square-head)
  • Drill with 2mm drill bit

Inside Mount Installation

Mount brackets

  1. With each blind you will receive two brackets - one male used for the chain control side of the blind, and one female which mounts on the pin (non-control) side.
  2. Hold the brackets to the place on your window frame where they are to be fixed. With a pencil, mark the two screw holes and then drill a pilot hole in the middle of each marking with a 2mm drill bit.
  3. Now use the screws provided to fix the brackets to the window frame. See male (left) and female (right) mounted below:

Install inside mounted blind

  1. First remove the blind from tube. Do not remove securing tape from assembly at this stage.
  2. Install your blind into the male bracket first which is also the chain side. Before installing the blind into the bracket, make sure the top of the chain drive (two lines) are facing upward (so opening for the chain is facing downwards)
  3. Now remove securing tape from the blind.
  4. Hold the chain-side in position and move to the other side of the blind. Guide the metal spring loaded pin into the track of the female bracket until it clicks into position

Your blind is now installed - it can now be lowered using the chain control. Once lowered, place the plastic chain stop on the chain where it enters the chain drive. This will prevent the blind from being rolled down too far.

Outside mount (External) installation

Mount brackets

  1. With each blind you will receive two brackets - one male used for the chain control side of the blind, and one female which mounts on the pin (non-control) side.
  2. Hold the brackets to the place on your window frame where they are to be fixed. With a pencil, mark the two screw holes and then drill a pilot hole in the middle of each marking with a 2mm drill bit:

Customer
Reviews:

We recently used A-One Blinds to fit blinds to 3 double sliding doors, 2 triple sliding doors and 5 assorted sized windows. They were easy to deal with, provided practical information when we were choosing materials, came when they said they would and finished the job quickly, efficiently and tidily. Everything fits and works beautifully. We are very pleased and would have no hesitation recommending them to others, as our daughter did to us.

Just tops to deal with. The blinds look so wonderful, they have dressed the windows again. Top quality, top staff. Who could wish for more. Thanks again.
Elaine Hartley
Very happy with your product and services - beyond what we expected. We highly recommend A-One Blinds.

I cannot recommend A-One Blinds enough! Rebecca knew we left our blinds a bit late into our build and made a special note to ensure that at least our bedroom blinds were in place for when we moved in. The installer was very professional and even switched up one of the cords of the blinds to the opposite side as our daughter would be sleeping next to it. Customer service like this is almost extinct these days so just cannot rave enough!

Wonderful product and their service is great from quoting to the installer. All great front line staff. Will use this company again and I would recommend them to anyone. Top job.
